We are seeking a Laboratory Director to oversee a state-of-the-art facility utilizing advanced technology. This leadership role entails responsibility for the technical, operational, regulatory, and quality performance of the laboratory, ensuring that outcomes meet or exceed industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in assisted reproductive technologies, strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, and a proven track record in building and leading high-performing laboratory teams. Key responsibilities include performing and validating complex ART procedures, ensuring laboratory staff competency, and coordinating patient treatment plans with medical professionals. The Laboratory Director will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain readiness for inspections, while also overseeing proficiency testing programs and quality assurance initiatives. Additionally, the role involves managing laboratory budgets, recommending equipment acquisitions, and controlling inventory costs. The Laboratory Director will also play a crucial role in human resources, including recruitment, performance reviews, and the development of training programs. Participation in executive leadership committees to establish laboratory vision and culture is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of a Master’s degree, with a preference for a PhD, and at least five years of experience as an embryologist. Certification as an embryologist and as a Laboratory Director is required, with the latter to be obtained within two years if not already held. Strong leadership skills and a record of exemplary performance are essential.
