Kitchen Supervisor
A full-time Kitchen Supervisor is needed for a fast-paced restaurant environment in Langley, BC. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced line cook or kitchen lead who is ready to take the next step while still working on the floor. The position offers the opportunity to grow into a kitchen management role over time.
Compensation includes $19.00–$21.00 per hour plus average tip-outs of $4–$5 per hour, for an estimated total of $23–$26 per hour. Responsibilities include leading and supporting kitchen operations during service, maintaining food quality and presentation standards, training and mentoring cooks and prep staff, assisting with inventory and prep organization, and ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards are met. The role also involves supporting smooth service during busy periods and helping maintain a positive, high-energy workplace.
Applicants should have at least 1 year of kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant. Leadership experience is an asset. A strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment are important. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. FoodSafe certification is an asset.
