IT Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support day-to-day technology operations in a growing, hands-on business with a mix of office, retail, online, and event-based work. This role is focused on building dependable IT practices in an environment where many processes are still being formalized, so comfort with ambiguity and initiative are important. In this position, you will provide everyday technical support to staff across multiple work settings, manage the full device lifecycle from setup through retirement, and keep accurate records of hardware, software, user accounts, licenses, and other IT assets. You will also help define practical standards for company devices and shared equipment, as well as for employee onboarding, offboarding, and access requests. The role includes administration of identity and access in common business platforms, along with basic security controls such as multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, account recovery, and periodic access reviews. You will evaluate and help manage tools for device management, remote support, help desk operations, and asset tracking. We are looking for someone who can spot repetitive work, improve processes through automation or better documentation, and support the safe adoption of modern AI tools where useful. Clear communication, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work independently are essential. Experience in small or mid-sized organizations and familiarity with scripting or automation are strong advantages.
