We are seeking an intermediate-level engineer to support projects involving fall protection, access safety, and related structural work. This role combines office-based design with site visits, assessments, and direct client communication. You will be involved from early investigations and hazard reviews through design, checking, field verification, and documentation for approval where appropriate. The position centers on evaluating and designing safety-related systems for industrial and commercial environments, along with structural or mechanical support elements as needed. Work may include reviewing existing conditions, developing practical engineering solutions, preparing technical drawings and reports, and assisting with inspection and certification activities. You should be comfortable taking ownership of your work and operating within your professional area of competence. This opportunity suits an engineer who enjoys a mix of design, analysis, and hands-on field work. Prior experience with fall protection is an asset, but candidates with strong structural or mechanical backgrounds who are open to learning may also be considered. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, professional engineer registration in Canada, several years of relevant experience, and solid knowledge of static and dynamic analysis. Strong communication, documentation, organization, and planning skills are important, as is the ability to work safely at active industrial and commercial sites. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Canada.
