Intermediate Electrical Designer/Drafter

An established multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Designer/Drafter to support building projects across residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors. This role is suited to someone with solid experience in electrical building systems, strong drafting ability, and an interest in helping improve design processes while supporting less experienced team members. You will contribute to the preparation of permit and construction drawings, system layouts, and load calculations, working closely with engineers, designers, and other project disciplines. The position requires careful coordination with internal teams and external parties to help ensure designs are accurate, practical, and aligned with applicable codes and standards. Work may include lighting, power distribution, life safety, and communications systems for a range of building types. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing several priorities at once, working both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
