Intermediate CAD Technician

Intermediate CAD Technician needed to support water resources and hydrotechnical projects within an environmental services team. This office-based role involves preparing CAD drawings and design packages using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as interpreting engineering markups and sketches to produce accurate drawing deliverables. Responsibilities include developing and editing surfaces, profiles, cross-sections, and plan/profile drawings for riverine, coastal, and other water management projects. You will also prepare grading plans, erosion and sediment control drawings, and as-built/redline updates as part of project design packages. Additional drawing support may include culverts, channel works, bank stabilization, shoreline protection, stormwater, municipal drainage, and mining or water management projects. Regular collaboration with project teams is expected. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD production in a technical environment and a strong ability to translate engineering concepts into clear, accurate drawings.
