A financial institution is seeking an Interim HR Specialist to join its Human Resources Team. This is a one-year contract position with the potential for extension. The expected salary range for this role is between $60,000 and $65,000. The HR Specialist will support various HR-related programs, with a primary focus on recruitment and selection. Key responsibilities include facilitating all recruitment activities, maintaining accurate records, conducting intake meetings with hiring managers, and ensuring compliance with applicable agreements. The specialist will prepare job postings, conduct sourcing, screening, and interviewing of candidates, and maintain communication with all stakeholders throughout the hiring process. Additionally, the role involves coordinating staff movements, facilitating orientation programs, and providing administrative support for training and performance management initiatives. The HR Specialist will also maintain accurate information within HR systems and ensure confidentiality of all employment records. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in recruitment. A post-secondary diploma or degree in business, human resources, or a related field is required, along with knowledge of employment legislation. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
