You will participate in project planning, prepare technical documentation, and help carry work through design, procurement, construction, and startup. Core duties include developing and revising process and instrumentation diagrams, preparing instrument specifications and data sheets, and completing related design calculations. You will also support estimates and schedules, coordinate with suppliers during procurement, and review vendor information for technical compliance. In addition, you will help produce control system documentation such as architecture drawings, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, cable schedules, I/O lists, and control narratives. The role may also involve maintaining engineering records, supporting programming and commissioning activities, and working closely with other engineering disciplines and project teams. The successful candidate will have a diploma or degree in a related field and several years of relevant instrumentation and controls experience. Professional registration or eligibility is an asset, as is experience on EPC-style projects and familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards. Strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are important.
