Information Technology Manager

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee site-based information and operational technology services for an industrial operation. This role is responsible for the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of systems that support operations, administration, communications, and end users. The position is based in Saskatoon with regular travel to site and a Monday-to-Friday schedule. The successful candidate will guide technology planning and delivery across infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, cybersecurity, servers, storage, cloud services, and end-user support. You will also help drive digital initiatives that improve safety, monitoring, automation, connectivity, and operational efficiency. A key part of the role is ensuring secure integration between IT and OT environments, including access control, segmentation, remote connectivity, resilience planning, and response readiness. This position involves leading projects from early planning through implementation and operational handover, while coordinating internal teams, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders. You will manage budgets, procurement, service agreements, and lifecycle replacement planning, and provide leadership, coaching, and development to site technology staff. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary background in a related field and substantial experience in IT leadership within mining, industrial, or other high-availability environments. Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, wireless communications, and systems administration is required, along with a proven ability to build trusted relationships across technical and operational teams.
