Information Technology Analyst

This role is responsible for monitoring new technology trends, assessing their potential use in a large healthcare environment, and supporting decisions related to innovation and investment. The person in this position will analyze emerging digital solutions, prepare strategic summaries, and help identify opportunities that could improve services and operations. Working closely with management, the analyst contributes to planning and prioritizing technology initiatives, developing roadmaps, and coordinating pilot projects as well as broader implementations. The role also involves reviewing available solutions, comparing their maturity and fit, and producing practical recommendations based on cost, benefits, risks, and expected value. The incumbent will collaborate with internal teams and external partners such as research organizations, vendors, and peer institutions to share knowledge and stay informed on best practices. They may also take part in professional networks and sector events to support technology transfer and innovation. In addition, this position can involve leading or supporting projects throughout the project lifecycle, using established project management practices and tools. A further part of the role is contributing to continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing clinical or administrative processes through structured improvement methods.
