In-House Counsel

We are seeking an in-house legal professional to support a business that develops and sells technology-based products and services in regulated markets. In this role, you will handle a broad mix of commercial legal work, with a strong focus on contract preparation, review, and negotiation. You will work closely with finance, operations, and leadership to help structure agreements, manage legal risk, and keep day-to-day business activity aligned with internal policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include drafting and revising a range of legal documents, advising on sales, licensing, and service arrangements, and helping shape contract processes and standards. You will also support responses to customer requests for proposals and other transactional matters, while ensuring agreements reflect business goals and protect the organization’s interests. This role requires someone who can balance practical commercial judgment with sound legal analysis. The ideal candidate has a law degree and at least a few years of experience focused on contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements. Experience with software or technology licensing and other transactional documentation is important. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with business stakeholders are essential.
