Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources specialist to support compensation, benefits, and HR systems administration on a fixed-term contract basis. This role is based in Toronto with a hybrid work arrangement and offers an hourly rate in the range of $50 to $62. In this position, you will help manage core total rewards processes, including compensation and benefits support, data review, reporting, and day-to-day maintenance of HR systems. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure employee information is accurate, processes run smoothly, and HR records are kept up to date. The role also involves supporting routine audits, preparing reports, and contributing to improvements in HR workflows and systems use. The ideal candidate has prior experience in human resources, preferably with exposure to compensation, benefits, and HR technology platforms. Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally are important. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are also essential.
