Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to take on a broad, hands-on role supporting managers and employees across the organization. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys variety, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants the opportunity to influence day-to-day operations through practical HR support. In this role, you will oversee the full recruitment process, from interviews through onboarding. You will also coach managers on employee relations matters, help manage administrative and disciplinary files, and support the consistent application of HR policies and procedures. A significant part of the role will involve coordinating workplace health and safety activities, following up on occupational injury and disability cases, and supporting related committees and reporting requirements. You will also contribute to performance review processes, learning and development activities, HR metrics, benefits and retirement administration, and compensation-related maintenance such as job evaluations and pay equity follow-up. Staying current on applicable employment laws and regulations will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in human resources or industrial relations, has several years of generalist HR experience, and is fluent in both French and English. Strong judgment, organization, autonomy, and a collaborative approach are essential. Professional HR designation is considered an asset.
