Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to support a growing consumer-focused business in a hands-on people operations role. This position works closely with senior people leadership and contributes to both day-to-day HR support and longer-term initiatives that help shape the employee experience. In this role, you will help manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee transitions while also handling core HR activities such as employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, policy guidance, and compliance support. You will also take part in building engagement programs, coordinating workplace events, and strengthening the culture as the organization continues to expand. The right person will be comfortable working across a wide range of responsibilities, staying organized in a busy environment, and improving processes as the business grows. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys being both strategic and operational, and who can build strong relationships across teams. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in HR, people operations, or a generalist role, ideally within a fast-moving consumer, retail, or similar high-growth environment. A solid understanding of Ontario employment law is important, with broader exposure to other Canadian or U.S. employment practices preferred. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach are essential. Experience with HR systems, payroll support, engagement initiatives, and recognized HR credentials would be considered an asset.
