We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to cover a maternity leave position. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing day-to-day human resources initiatives and programs that align with company values and contribute to overall success and growth. You will implement and guide an effective HR platform that fosters a positive and accountable work environment. This hands-on position is ideal for a certified HR professional with extensive generalist experience across all areas of human resources.
Key Responsibilities include providing confidential and professional counsel on workplace issues, supporting employees with policy interpretation, ensuring compliance with legislation, conducting full-cycle recruitment, advising managers on employee relations, overseeing performance management processes, conducting workplace investigations, managing total rewards programs, and promoting a culture of respect and engagement.
What You Bring: A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a generalist role, developing and managing various HR programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with HR software systems are preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team effectively are essential.
