Human Resources Manager

An experienced Human Resources Manager is needed to support a large, unionized organization in a client-service environment. In this role, you will be a key contact for managers and supervisors, helping with staffing, contract interpretation, accommodation and return-to-work matters, performance management, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes. You will also contribute to labour relations activities, including participation in bargaining, while helping develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and service delivery practices. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams to support leadership development and promote consistent, effective people practices across the organization. You will provide guidance to departments, assist with professional learning initiatives, and help ensure HR services align with broader organizational goals. A strong understanding of employment legislation and experience working in a complex environment are important for success in this role. Applicants should have a university degree in human resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with at least five years of progressive HR experience. Experience in a unionized setting is preferred. Professional HR certification is considered an asset. The salary range for this position is $82,350 to $102,938.
