This fixed-term HR role supports day-to-day people operations at a manufacturing site and works closely with site leadership to help align workforce practices with business needs. The position covers a broad range of responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance support, training coordination, compliance, and general HR administration. A key part of the job is building strong relationships across the organization, responding to employee concerns, supporting investigations and corrective action when needed, and helping maintain a positive and productive workplace. The role also contributes to workforce planning, engagement efforts, retention initiatives, and change management activities. In addition, the successful candidate will assist managers with goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, while helping identify learning needs and supporting leadership growth. The position requires attention to employment legislation, policy adherence, accurate recordkeeping, and support for payroll, benefits, and HR systems processes. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least a few years of progressive HR experience. Experience in an industrial, logistics, or manufacturing setting is an asset, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Professional HR certification is considered an advantage. This is a one-year contract role with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 annually.
