Health and Safety Manager

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee workplace safety across multiple construction and field-based projects. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operation of the safety program, support project teams with safe work planning, and help ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements. You will take a leading role in inspections, audits, incident investigations, training, and safety documentation while helping drive continuous improvement across operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating safety policies and procedures, conducting regular site visits and compliance checks, and confirming that required records and inspections are completed accurately and on time. You will support the preparation of project-specific safety plans and hazard assessments, assist with client safety submissions, and participate in pre-job planning sessions. The role also involves investigating incidents and near misses, identifying root causes, recommending corrective actions, and tracking safety performance. This position includes leadership responsibilities, including supervising and coaching safety staff, supporting supervisors and managers, and helping maintain an effective safety management system aligned with recognized industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, practical construction safety experience, and a proactive approach to risk reduction and team support.
