Head of Legal

We are seeking an experienced in-house legal leader to oversee the legal function for a fast-growing, data-focused business. This role will be the main legal contact across the company and will work closely with leadership and teams in sales, operations, finance, and product. The position calls for a practical lawyer who can balance speed and risk, support commercial growth, and keep the organization moving efficiently. Core responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of business agreements, with particular attention to customer contracts, data-related terms, and supplier arrangements. You will also support enterprise negotiations, respond to legal and compliance questions, and manage outside counsel when specialist advice is needed. In addition, the role involves partnering with finance and accounting on corporate and contractual matters, helping maintain internal policies, and supporting privacy and other compliance initiatives. You will also assist with broader company matters such as employment agreements, equity-related processes, financing activity, and future strategic transactions. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with several years of post-qualification experience, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to provide clear, practical advice. Experience with technology or data-driven businesses is preferred, along with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach. Competitive compensation and equity are offered.
