Hardware Production Manager

We are seeking a hands-on production leader to help scale a complex hardware product from low-volume builds into a more repeatable manufacturing operation. In this role, you will own the day-to-day systems that keep assembly, testing, packaging, and shipment running smoothly while maintaining high quality standards. You will work across production planning, supplier coordination, inventory management, and process documentation to ensure the team can meet increasing demand. A major part of the job is improving how the product is built: refining test procedures, spotting recurring issues, supporting corrective actions, and making the manufacturing workflow more efficient and reliable. This position is primarily focused on production execution and operational improvement, not on designing a brand-new product platform. When deeper technical changes are needed, you will partner with external engineering support to help drive practical improvements to existing hardware. You will also lead and coach production technicians, set clear expectations, and help build a culture centered on accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement. Strong collaboration with internal teams and outside partners is important, especially when balancing production priorities with customer needs and supply availability. The ideal candidate has experience bringing hardware through assembly and shipment, managing vendors and materials, and leading a production team in a growing environment.
