We are seeking an intermediate-level geoscientist to support environmental and water quality work across a range of industrial and resource-related projects. This position combines fieldwork and office-based analysis, with a focus on geochemical assessment, data interpretation, and preparation of technical deliverables. The successful candidate will contribute to study design, lead or support sampling programs, and help develop inputs for water quality and geochemical models.
Key responsibilities include managing and interpreting large technical datasets, preparing work plans, writing and reviewing reports, and coordinating with internal specialists to deliver multidisciplinary project work. The role also involves regular communication with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders, along with participation in proposal support and special assignments as business needs evolve. There will be opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the technical group.
A bachelor’s degree in geology, chemistry, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline is required. Candidates should bring several years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, mining, or mineral exploration. Professional designation or eligibility for registration is considered an asset. Familiarity with geochemical characterization, water quality studies, and modelling tools is beneficial, as is experience with GIS and standard office software. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in remote settings and with diverse project teams.
