General Manager, Housing and Development

This leadership role oversees a housing and property development division, with responsibility for business performance, project delivery, customer experience, and team management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and help shape divisional strategy while driving steady growth across the portfolio. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a management team, establishing clear goals, and ensuring strong accountability for results. The role also involves managing financial performance against revenue, margin, and cash flow targets, preparing annual budgets and business plans, and reviewing monthly performance indicators to stay on course. In addition, this position will direct development projects from early planning through completion, with attention to schedule, budget, and quality. It will also support growth through sales, leasing, occupancy, and market development efforts, while identifying opportunities in new projects, partnerships, and expansion areas. The role includes oversight of property and site standards, including safety, upkeep, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should bring significant senior leadership experience in residential construction, real estate, or land development, along with a strong track record in managing multiple teams and business results. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, project management, and working through approval processes is important. Relevant post-secondary education is an asset. Salary range: $85,000 to $120,000 annually, plus competitive benefits.
