Financial Manager / Controller - Global Manufacturer

A global industrial manufacturing and engineering services organization is seeking a Finance Manager / Controller to oversee site-level finance activities and serve as a key business partner to operations and senior leadership. This role encompasses a broad range of operational finance responsibilities, including ownership of reporting, controls, and decision support, and is designed for an individual who thrives in a hands-on, operationally driven environment. Key responsibilities include full ownership of site P&L and monthly management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, as well as cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis. The role also involves oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow, supporting operational and capital investment decisions, strengthening financial controls and reporting processes, and acting as the primary finance interface for audits, tax, and compliance. Collaboration with site leadership and operations teams is essential. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role, with a background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments. A strong understanding of cost structures, work in progress, inventory, and production finance is required. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred. The position offers a competitive base salary in the range of CAD 135,000 - 150,000 per annum, along with a performance-based bonus, within a stable and well-established organization that has a global reach. This high-visibility role will have a direct impact on operations.
