Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee accounting operations and support the overall financial management of a growing organization. This is an onsite role based in Alberta, with opportunities in several regional locations. The successful candidate will lead a finance team, manage day-to-day accounting activities, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance with accounting standards, preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and helping strengthen internal controls. You will also work closely with leadership to provide financial insight that supports sound business decisions. The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant experience, including direct supervision of staff. Strong technical accounting knowledge, familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles, and a solid background in financial reporting are essential. The role also requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $120,000 to $140,000, along with standard benefits.
