Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced financial analyst to join a collaborative team and support reporting, planning, and decision-making across the business. In this role, you will work with finance and operational stakeholders to produce accurate analysis, interpret performance, and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities that inform business actions. Your work will include preparing monthly financial reporting, reviewing profit and loss results and margin performance, and explaining key differences against budget, forecast, and prior periods. You will also build financial models, forecast updates, and performance metrics to help guide planning and resource allocation. In addition, you will contribute to annual budgeting and strategic planning, develop business cases for projects and investments, and analyze data related to expenses, inventory, pricing, customers, and market activity. The right candidate brings strong analytical thinking, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work with large datasets from multiple sources. Experience with financial reporting, business analysis, and data management is important, along with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to communicate findings clearly. Familiarity with business intelligence tools, shared platforms, and basic database querying is considered an asset.
