This is an opportunity for a Financial Accounting & Operations Manager to take full ownership of the accounting function within a growing multi-entity organization. The role encompasses the complete accounting cycle across various lines of business and international branches, with responsibilities including financial reporting, payroll, tax compliance, and overseeing the daily operations of the finance department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently under tight deadlines, and confident in managing complexity across multiple entities and currencies. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements and consolidated financial reports, executing month-end and year-end close procedures, and maintaining full-cycle accounting and the general ledger. The role also involves overseeing client invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and managing payroll processing, including tax reporting and compliance. Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment. Knowledge of Canadian tax requirements and hands-on payroll processing experience are essential. Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills are required, along with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
