Finance Manager

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional who can work closely with business leaders, translate performance data into clear insights, and support day-to-day and long-range decision-making. In this role, you will report to senior finance leadership and take ownership of financial reporting, planning, cash management, costing, and control processes across a manufacturing-focused operation. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing periodic financial results, supporting close activities, and ensuring the integrity of accounting records. The position also involves partnering with teams across operations, production, supply chain, projects, sales, and payroll to understand margins, cost drivers, and profitability trends. Key duties include budgeting and forecasting, building financial models, analyzing business scenarios, monitoring working capital, and supporting investment decisions. You will help track project and product costs, review inventory accounting, and assess operational performance such as efficiency, scrap, utilization, and throughput. In addition, you will maintain strong internal controls, assist with audit and compliance requirements, and contribute to process improvements in reporting and systems. The ideal candidate brings several years of progressive finance or accounting experience, a solid grasp of financial analysis and controls, and a background in a similar leadership role. A post-secondary education in a related field is expected, and professional accounting progress or designation is an asset.
