Finance Manager

Finance Manager We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the finance and accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will act as a strategic and operational partner to management, providing financial insight, analysis, and reporting support while helping improve efficiency and reporting processes. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a small team of analysts focused on financial analysis, budgeting, reporting support, and data automation; preparing and delivering financial and operational reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis; supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by coordinating with department leaders and validating assumptions; and producing monthly variance analysis and commentary for leadership. The role will also be responsible for building and improving standardized reports, supporting complex analyses related to revenue, costs, customer activity, and other business metrics, and serving as a finance contact for reporting accuracy and data integrity across core business systems. Additional duties include driving reporting optimization initiatives, partnering with teams across the organization to resolve data issues and improve consistency, maintaining financial models and planning tools, and supporting accounting, audit, tax, or compliance-related schedules as needed. Strong Excel and reporting tool skills are important, along with experience using automation and AI-enabled productivity methods to improve efficiency. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, data analytics, or a related field is required. A CPA designation is considered an asset. Previous finance leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly are essential. This position is based in Midland, Ontario, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
