Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day finance operations and supporting sound financial management across the organization. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role oversees team priorities, improves processes, and ensures timely, accurate financial information is available to support planning, stewardship, compliance, and decision-making. This position provides leadership to the finance team while working closely with leaders across fundraising, operations, communications, systems, and people functions. The role is central to annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance monitoring, particularly during a major strategic growth initiative. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and management reports, monitoring financial results, identifying risks and trends, and maintaining strong accounting policies and internal controls. The Finance Manager also supports presentations of financial results and recommendations to senior leaders and governance committees. In addition, the role serves as a key finance partner to department leaders, offering analysis and advice to help them manage budgets, understand variances, and make informed decisions. The successful candidate will bring experience in financial leadership, business partnering, forecasting, and process improvement, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and support organizational goals.
