Field Service Technician

We are seeking a field-based technician to support solids control and fluid management operations at remote project sites across Canada. In this role, you will work under the guidance of field leadership and receive hands-on training on specialized equipment and site procedures. The position involves supporting drilling operations through closed-loop and related mud systems, helping to improve efficiency, manage solids, and maintain safe, effective site performance. This is a safety-sensitive role with a rotating schedule that includes 12-hour shifts, extended time on location, and regular travel to remote work sites. You may be assigned to one or multiple projects depending on business needs. Duties include equipment setup and teardown, operating and monitoring solids control units, assisting with fluid testing, and learning basic maintenance and electrical tasks. You will also help maintain a clean work area, complete required safety documentation, and participate in daily toolbox or safety meetings. The ideal candidate is mechanically minded, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and able to build strong working relationships on site. You should be customer focused, adaptable, and able to follow safety procedures at all times. Experience with heavy equipment is an asset, and certification opportunities may be provided through the role.
