We are seeking a strategic and community-focused Executive Director for a compassionate end-of-life care organization. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced executive passionate about healthcare, community impact, and organizational leadership. The Executive Director will report directly to the Board of Directors and serve as the primary ambassador for hospice palliative care in the region.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic and operational leadership, advancing the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability, and ensuring high-quality hospice palliative care services. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board, staff, volunteers, donors, and community stakeholders to strengthen relationships, support effective governance, and oversee strategic planning, operations, and risk management.
Additionally, the Executive Director will engage with donors and healthcare providers to promote equitable access to services and support the fundraising team to enhance community engagement and organizational growth. Internally, the Executive Director will cultivate a collaborative culture focused on compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement, overseeing operations, human resource practices, and financial management.
Candidates should possess a relevant post-secondary education in healthcare administration, non-profit leadership, business, or a related field; a master’s degree is an asset. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, supporting the mission of delivering exceptional care at the end of life.
