Exclusion Technician

We are seeking a hands-on Exclusion Technician to carry out structural proofing and repair work on residential and commercial properties. This role is focused on preventing wildlife and rodents from entering buildings by sealing access points and improving vulnerable areas, rather than applying chemical treatments. You will use practical construction and maintenance skills to install barriers, make minor repairs, and help protect client sites from future intrusions. Day-to-day work may include sealing gaps in foundations, roof edges, and exterior openings; fitting door sweeps, screening, and other exclusion materials; and installing bird deterrent systems where needed. The position also involves working at heights, including ladders and elevated equipment, as well as using standard hand and power tools to complete durable repairs. You will also inspect sites for structural weaknesses and share observations with the service team. Applicants should have experience with tools and general repair, maintenance, carpentry, roofing, or similar work. Comfort working outdoors and at height is important, along with the ability to lift moderate weight, move frequently, and work in tight spaces when required. A valid driver’s license is needed. Training can be provided for equipment operation, and no pest control license is required.
