The Events Manager will own a full portfolio of customer, industry, and regional events, ensuring each program is delivered professionally, on brand, and within budget. This high-visibility role works closely with marketing, sales, customer experience, and external vendors to plan and execute events that support business goals and create a strong attendee experience.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end planning for a major annual customer event, from initial concept through post-event follow-up. Duties include venue sourcing, contract negotiation, logistics, catering, audiovisual coordination, entertainment, registration, communications, on-site management, and post-event reporting. The role also includes managing major trade shows, including booth planning, freight, setup and teardown, housing, badge orders, exhibitor services, and serving as the primary on-site contact.
In addition, the Events Manager will coordinate a portfolio of regional and local events for the sales team, maintain a master events calendar, communicate deadlines, and evaluate new event opportunities based on fit and return on investment. The position also involves identifying and managing event sponsorships, ensuring deliverables are fulfilled, tracking value, and reporting outcomes. The role will support marketing materials and event premiums by maintaining inventory and coordinating fulfillment and shipping needs.
Candidates should have strong project management, communication, budgeting, and vendor coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
