Estimator

We are seeking an Estimator to prepare pricing for door, hardware, and related product packages based on architectural drawings and project documents. Working with senior staff, this role gathers the information needed to build accurate quotes and support bid preparation. Key responsibilities include reviewing plans to determine product requirements, calculating quantities, and assembling formal pricing that accounts for materials and freight. The Estimator will also request pricing from suppliers and vendors, compare options, and help identify cost-effective alternatives when appropriate. Maintaining current pricing information and supporting data in internal systems is part of the role as well. The ideal candidate has experience with hardware and door products, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret construction drawings. Good organizational and communication skills are important, along with solid math ability and comfort using spreadsheets and other common office software. Experience with drafting or construction-related software is an asset. Relevant post-secondary education is preferred, though training will be provided. A few years of related estimating or construction industry experience is desirable. This is a replacement position.
