Equipment Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced project professional to oversee capital equipment initiatives within a mining or heavy industrial setting. This position is responsible for guiding projects from early definition and planning through execution and final close-out, with a strong focus on safe delivery, cost control, schedule adherence, and quality expectations. The role involves coordinating day-to-day project activities, maintaining progress against milestones, and ensuring work aligns with operational needs and industry requirements. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently and to resolve issues as they arise. A key part of the position is identifying risks early, developing practical responses, and supporting a strong safety culture throughout each phase of delivery. The successful candidate will also prepare regular status updates for leadership, help secure the people and materials needed for project execution, and contribute to maintaining consistent project standards. Travel to remote or site-based locations may be required during implementation periods. Candidates should bring substantial experience delivering industrial or mining projects, along with a background in equipment-related work, project coordination, or a related technical or trades discipline. Familiarity with common office software and project scheduling tools is expected, and experience with enterprise systems or formal project management certification would be an asset.
