Environmental Services Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced project manager to support environmental and waste-handling operations at a client site in Victoria, British Columbia. This is a fully on-site role that oversees projects from initial quote preparation through final completion, with a strong focus on safety, schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance. In this position, you will coordinate field activities, manage timelines and resources, and prepare operational and shipping documentation such as manifests, labels, packing lists, and related records. You will also help with the handling, sorting, packaging, and inspection of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including support for chemical packaging and waste collection programs. Additional duties include checking storage and container conditions, identifying operational or safety issues, and working with customers to resolve service concerns. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in project coordination, environmental services, hazardous materials management, spill response, or a related industrial setting. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills are important, along with proficiency in common office software. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work in industrial environments are required. Experience with waste documentation and packaging procedures is considered an asset.
