Emergency Response Manager

We are seeking an experienced operational manager to oversee emergency restoration planning and response for utility clients across multiple regions. This role is responsible for coordinating readiness before events, managing activations when severe weather or other disruptions occur, and supporting the efficient deployment of crews, vehicles, and equipment. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact for clients and internal teams throughout the full response cycle. Key duties include maintaining resource availability, organizing crew rosters, confirming mobilization and stand-down activities, and tracking ongoing changes during active events. You will work closely with operations, safety, logistics, finance, payroll, and field leaders to ensure response activities align with contractual and client requirements. The role also involves reviewing potential response opportunities, helping assess operational needs and costs, and supporting documentation and billing processes after events. Additional responsibilities include developing procedures, callout plans, checklists, and contingency measures, as well as participating in drills, readiness reviews, and post-event improvements. Strong coordination skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential. Candidates should have several years of experience in utility storm response, field operations, logistics, or a related environment, along with a solid understanding of crew deployment and contract-based work requirements.
