Electrical Technologist

We are seeking an intermediate-level electrical technologist to support design work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In this role, you will prepare CAD drawings and technical plans related to power distribution and lighting systems, helping transform design concepts into clear construction documents. You will work collaboratively with engineers and project teams to produce accurate, well-organized drawings and to update plans as project requirements evolve. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and between three and seven years of relevant experience. Experience using CAD drafting software is required, along with a strong working knowledge of industry-standard design tools. You should be comfortable reviewing technical information, identifying issues, and applying practical solutions to drawing and design challenges. Strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and good problem-solving ability are important for success in this position. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of remote and in-office work.
