Electrical Assembly Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced electrical assembly professional to support day-to-day production activities in a manufacturing environment. This position works closely with the production supervisor to keep work moving, coordinate priorities, and help ensure that jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to quality expectations. When the supervisor is unavailable, this person will provide coverage and help maintain continuity on the floor. Key responsibilities include assigning work based on urgency and skill level, monitoring progress, supporting team members through coaching and training, and flagging issues that affect quality, output, or safety. The role also involves working with engineering and production support teams to address build concerns, document incomplete work, and help identify corrective actions. In addition, the lead hand will assist with performance feedback, support apprentice development, and ensure tools, equipment, and test devices are maintained and functioning properly. A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential, including identifying hazards, responding appropriately to injuries or incidents, and helping enforce safe work practices. This position also includes hands-on assembly work when needed. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a relevant trade qualification, and several years of experience in a fabrication or heavy equipment manufacturing setting. Previous leadership experience and familiarity with common business software are considered assets.
