The Director of Pharmaceutical Relations and Strategy is responsible for developing and enhancing strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical suppliers and leading contracting activities to support pharmaceutical operations, particularly in specialty pharmacy and complex pharmaceutical categories. Reporting to the CFO, this role involves hands-on leadership in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and commercial performance initiatives. The Director will play a key role in translating supplier agreements into commercial opportunities and operational value across various business lines. This position is ideal for a seasoned leader with strong people management skills and significant experience in executive-level strategy and decision-making. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining partnerships with key pharmaceutical manufacturers, leading relationship management efforts, negotiating pricing and service terms, and serving as the senior escalation point for supplier-related issues. The role also involves reviewing and negotiating supplier agreements, identifying contractual risks and opportunities, and executing sourcing strategies to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity. Candidates should have 6–10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical relations, procurement, or strategic sourcing, along with a strong understanding of pharmacy and pharmaceutical distribution. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of approximately $130,000 per year.
