Director of SAP Operations

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the stability, performance, and ongoing improvement of enterprise SAP environments that support core retail operations. In this role, you will be accountable for operational reliability, incident response, and the continuous strengthening of support processes across production systems. You will develop reporting and performance tracking to monitor system health, service levels, and key operational trends. A major part of the role involves driving issue resolution, identifying root causes, reducing technical debt, and improving resilience, communication, and recovery practices. You will work closely with technical and business partners to ensure release readiness, clear problem definition, and effective resolution of production issues. This position also includes oversight of SAP architecture, platform engineering, and systems support teams. You will manage external providers, ensure service expectations are met, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders as a trusted advisor on technology matters. You will help guide upgrades, patching, and platform changes while minimizing disruption to the business. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading large SAP teams in retail or similar environments, along with deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, retail integrations, and enterprise support operations. Strong leadership, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to coach teams are essential.
