Director of Sales (Technology Delivery)
Location: Toronto, ON (onsite/hybrid)
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer / Chief Strategy Officer
Salary: Base CAD $160,000–$180,000 per year, with on-target earnings up to 50% of base, subject to target achievement
This role is responsible for originating and closing technology delivery engagements, including API integrations, custom software development, and systems implementation projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial and technical fluency, with the ability to shape solutions that are both feasible for delivery and aligned to client needs.
Key responsibilities include building pipeline across enterprise, retail, and logistics clients; leading technical discovery with IT and engineering stakeholders; developing technically sound proposals; managing pricing and negotiation; and expanding existing accounts through additional integration and development opportunities. The role also requires close collaboration with architects and delivery teams to ensure clear scoping, protect margins, and support a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
Candidates should have 10–15+ years of experience selling technical services, engineering solutions, or similar technology-led offerings. Experience with API integrations, system architecture, and platform connectivity is required, along with a background in systems integrators, engineering firms, or SaaS environments. Experience selling to 3PLs, retailers, or enterprise IT organizations is preferred.
Success in this role will be measured by bookings, project margin, technical win rate, forecast accuracy, and account expansion within the technology delivery lane.
