The Director of Sales, Supply Chain Consulting, is responsible for driving the growth of advisory and transformation engagements within the consulting practice. This role involves selling structured pathways that integrate diagnostics, strategy, and execution into a comprehensive engagement model. Key responsibilities include generating new consulting opportunities through relationship building and outreach, engaging C-suite stakeholders in strategic discussions, and identifying diagnostic entry points within target accounts.
The ideal candidate will have 10-20+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or transformation roles, with a strong track record in selling supply chain transformation and operational improvement programs. A proven ability to translate ambiguity into structured programs and connect strategy to execution is essential.
In the first 90 days, the successful candidate will align with the consulting team, understand the consulting offerings and pricing, and identify immediate target accounts. They will generate a qualified advisory pipeline, lead executive discovery conversations, and submit proposals that align with margin expectations. Key performance indicators will include consulting bookings, average deal size, advisory win rate, and forecast accuracy.
