Full-time Director of Finance role with a salary range of $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This senior leadership position reports to the CEO and is responsible for leading financial strategy, planning, and performance across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to support financial operations and provide backup assistance when needed.
Key responsibilities include developing annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial models; providing financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making; monitoring financial and operational performance; ensuring compliance with reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; and leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, along with a CPA designation. A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience is required, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance is essential. Advanced proficiency with financial systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or related sectors is considered an asset.
