Director of Clinical Services

A healthcare and social services organization is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to provide senior leadership across residential and integrated support programs. This role oversees clinical direction, program quality, and the work of clinical leaders while contributing to organization-wide planning, budgeting, staffing, and operational decisions. The successful candidate will help shape service delivery, support a strong and collaborative workplace culture, and guide special projects and new program development. This position requires a master’s degree in a relevant social science field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with several years of progressive leadership in clinical program development and staff supervision. Strong knowledge of substance use services, mental health care, residential treatment, and concurrent disorders is important. Registration with an appropriate professional body is required. Experience in settings such as hospitals, housing, shelters, or residential care is considered an asset. The role includes relationship management with funders, partners, and external stakeholders, as well as oversight of compliance with contract and budget expectations. The schedule is primarily weekday hours, with rotating on-call coverage that may occasionally involve evenings.
