Director, Legal Operations & Corporate Governance

A diversified financial services organization is seeking a Director of Legal Operations and Corporate Governance to enhance its corporate governance, legal administration, contract management, and coordination with external counsel. This role will oversee the organization’s daily legal operations, manage corporate governance frameworks, handle contract lifecycle management, and support regulatory documentation and litigation administration. Key responsibilities include managing corporate records, minute books, and governance documentation, as well as coordinating Board of Directors and shareholder meetings. The successful candidate will draft, review, and administer various agreements, maintain contract management systems, and serve as the primary liaison with external law firms. Additionally, this role will support regulatory filings and compliance, assist with employment-related documentation, and facilitate corporate transactions. Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in legal operations, corporate governance, or related fields, preferably within financial services or fintech. A diploma or degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, or Paralegal Studies is required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Familiarity with contract management systems and corporate governance software is preferred.
