Director, Alliance Management

Director, Alliance Management A growth-stage life sciences organization is seeking a Director, Alliance Management to lead strategic partner relationships and support cross-functional execution across the business. Reporting to the President, this role will act as a senior integrator, helping align internal teams and external partners to ensure effective delivery of commercial and operational priorities. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day oversight of key licensing partnerships, including governance, performance tracking, milestone management, and executive reporting. You will work closely with leaders across commercial, medical, regulatory, market access, supply chain, finance, and legal functions to coordinate initiatives and resolve issues. The role also supports onboarding and integration of newly licensed products or partners, from deal close through steady-state operations. This position requires strong project management, executive communication, and the ability to influence across functions without direct authority. You will prepare decision-oriented updates, presentations, and selected materials for leadership and board-level audiences. Qualifications include an MBA and/or bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, along with 8–12 years of progressive experience in commercial operations, business operations, alliance management, program management, consulting, or a similarly complex environment. Experience with licensing partnerships, portfolio operations, or launch readiness is an asset. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and background, with eligibility for additional bonus compensation. This is a hybrid role based in the Toronto/GTA area.
