We are seeking a General Director to provide overall leadership for a nonprofit organization focused on cultural, community, and early childhood initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, management, and development of the organization, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance across all sectors. Key responsibilities include implementing strategic directions set by the board of directors, advising and supporting the board in decision-making, and ensuring adherence to best governance practices. The role also involves overseeing organizational structure and continuous improvement, establishing clear and effective organizational processes, and supporting change management. The General Director will supervise all activities, guide the leadership team, and ensure organizational goals are met while optimizing resources. Financial management responsibilities include developing and monitoring the overall budget and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in management, administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Strong experience in team management, financial oversight, and organizational governance is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strategic partnerships are also required. This position will require on-site work.
