Developer Relations Engineer

We are seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to help connect a technical product with the broader developer community. In this role, you will combine coding ability, community engagement, and content creation to improve the developer experience, support adoption, and bring external feedback into product decisions. You will work closely with engineering, product, and marketing stakeholders while representing the company in public forums such as online communities, meetups, webinars, and industry events. The role includes writing clear technical materials, such as guides, tutorials, documentation, and demo content, as well as helping shape launch and awareness efforts. You will also contribute hands-on code, sample integrations, and other technical assets that support the product and its ecosystem. The ideal candidate has several years of experience in developer relations, advocacy, technical marketing, or a similar area. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js is important, along with familiarity with open-source work and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly. Experience speaking to developer audiences and using data to evaluate impact will be valuable. This is a full-time role based in Toronto with an in-office expectation. The position offers flexible hours, competitive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Salary range: CAD 160,000 to CAD 180,000. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.
