Design Coordination Manager

We are seeking an experienced design professional to lead a coordination team supporting mechanical and electrical project delivery. This position is focused on keeping design workflows organized, consistent, and on schedule across drafting, document control, and related administrative tasks. In this role, you will direct the daily work of the coordination team by setting priorities, distributing assignments, and tracking progress against project deadlines. You will review drawings and supporting documentation to help ensure they meet internal standards for quality and presentation. You will also work closely with engineering staff to keep deliverables moving through each stage of the project lifecycle. A key part of the position is helping newer team members build confidence and capability in design coordination practices. That includes onboarding support, process training, and guidance on drafting expectations, drawing setup, and documentation requirements. You may also provide technical assistance to team members using common design software and offer feedback on workflow or quality issues to project leads. This opportunity is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-focused, technically capable, and comfortable bringing structure to a busy environment. The salary range for this role is $63,000 to $80,000, with a full-time, in-office schedule.
